# Dry Erase > A whiteboard talk from your own rough notes. Write a few lines explaining something you know - how a thing > works, how you do something, why something happens. The page splits the notes into up to twelve points, > groups them into three to six frames in your order and draws each frame stroke by stroke with a marker: a > heading, one to three doodles from a shelf of thirty with short labels, an arrow, plus or vs between them, > and a caption, with an eraser wipe between frames. A metered run plans the frames from the notes' own words. > Built on the SkillSafe skill @iart-ai/whiteboard-animation. https://dry-erase.skillsafe.ai/ ## What is free - The rough board from your notes, the whiteboard player (draw a frame, play the talk, scrub by hand, three speeds, four marker colours), the frame tray, and hand edits of every heading, label, doodle and caption. - Points holding an email address, phone number or handle are kept back by the page and never sent. - Three sample boards replay their saved plans at no cost. - Downloads: the current frame (SVG, PNG), all frames as one SVG, the whole talk as one self-playing animated SVG, the talk (Markdown, JSON), and print. - Open a .txt or .json file of notes with the file button, or drop one on the notes card. - A planned board stays on screen through small note fixes, and hand edits stay on the frames whose points did not change. ## The metered task One task, `board`, on gpt-terra, metered per run. The input is string fields: `task`, `topic`, `points` (numbered lines `N. the point`), `point_count` and `frames` (3 to 6). The reply is one JSON object: `fit` (`thin`, `squeezed` or `fits`, fixed by the counts), `title`, `frames` (each with `points`, `heading`, `doodles` of `{icon, label}`, `link` and `caption`) and `left_out`. The page checks every reply: the right fit and frame count, every point used once and in order (or listed as left out on a squeezed board), labels made only of each frame's own words, doodles from the shelf, and no numbers the notes never gave. The board draws the notes as written; it does not check facts and is not professional advice. ## Links - API tutorial: https://dry-erase.skillsafe.ai/api.html - Source skill: https://skillsafe.ai/skill/@iart-ai/whiteboard-animation (iart-ai/explainer-video-skills)
